Daniel Camargo es un bailarín nacido en Brasil. Recibió sus primeras lecciones de ballet en una escuela privada y asisitió desde 2000 hasta 2005 al Teatro Guaira Ballet School en Curitiba, Brasil. En 2005, Tadeusz Matacz descubrió a Daniel en el Youth America Grand Prix y lo invitó a seguir su educación en el Stuttgart.  Tras su excelente debut en el papel de Basilio en Don Quijote de Maximiliano Guerra, se convirtió en Solista al inicio de temporada 2012/13. Una temporada más adelante ha sido promovido a bailarín principal. En 2009 fue galardonado con el European Most Promising Award por la European Fundation for Culture. En la temporada 2010/11 ganó el German Dance Price Future. Camargo creó su primera coreografía propia para Noverre Society’s Young Choreographers.

Daniel Camargo is a dancer born in Brazil. He received his first ballet lessons in a private school and assisted from 2000 to 2005 at the Teatro Guaira Ballet School in Curitiba, Brazil. In 2005, Tadeusz Matacz discovered Daniel at the Youth America Grand Prix and invited him to continue his education at Stuttgart. After his excellent debut in the role of Basilio in Maximiliano Guerra’s Don Quijote, he became Soloist at the beginning of the season 2012/13. One season later he has been promoted to Principal dancer. In 2009 he was awarded the European Most Promising Award by the European Fundation for Culture. In the 2010/11 season, he won the German Dance Price Future. Camargo created his first own choreography for the Noverre Society’s Young Choreographers.
